At Eagle Eye Adventures, we are committed to protecting and respecting the natural habitat of the wildlife and whales that we encounter on our tours. As guests in their environment, we must adhere to strict viewing guidelines to ensure that we do not disrupt their behavior or cause them any harm. While it is possible that the whales may come close to our boat due to their own behavior, we never approach them on purpose. In Canada, we are required to maintain a minimum distance of 200 meters from orcas and 100 meters from humpback whales, unless the humpback mom has a baby with her, in which case the minimum distance is 200 meters. We appreciate your understanding and support in following these guidelines.
For more information, take a look at our rules and guideline page.
